Singapore passport holders can visit South Korea for up to 90 days without a visa. Foreign residents of Singapore who need a Korean visa apply in person at the Korea Visa Application Center (KVAC) with one printed passport photo on a white background. Korea's visa application form asks for a 35 × 45 mm front-view photo without a hat, taken within the last 6 months.

K-ETA exemption ends 31 December 2026
Singapore passport holders are exempt from the K-ETA until 31 December 2026. Unless Korea extends the exemption, Singaporeans travelling from 1 January 2027 will need a K-ETA, which includes a face photo. Check the official K-ETA website before you book.
Applying at KVAC in Singapore
Only foreigners with a valid Singapore long-term pass can apply for a Korean visa in Singapore; short-term visitors cannot. Book an appointment and submit your application in person at the Korea Visa Application Center, 47 Scotts Road, #17-01 Goldbell Towers. Online and email applications are not accepted, and processing takes about 8 working days.
The photo booth at the Korean Embassy is for Korean passports only, so bring your visa photo with you.
K-ETA photo
A K-ETA application includes a face photo uploaded on the official K-ETA website or app. Korea's Ministry of Justice set the file limit at under 100 KB and under 700 × 700 pixels in JPG format; the K-ETA app resizes photos automatically. The K-ETA costs KRW 10,000 and is valid for 3 years.

South Korea visa photo FAQ
35 × 45 mm, in colour on a white background, taken within the last six months. Bring one printed photo to KVAC.
Not until 31 December 2026, because Singapore passport holders are exempt until then. Check the official K-ETA website for any extension before travelling in 2027.
The 35 × 45 mm size and white background match a Singapore passport photo, so a recent one taken within the last six months is usually suitable.
