Who needs a Singapore visa?

Many visitors to Singapore do not need a visa, but travellers of some nationalities do. ICA publishes visa requirements for each country, so check the page for your nationality before you book travel.

How to apply and submit your photo

Visa applications are made with Form 14A and are submitted through one of these channels, depending on your nationality:

  • a local contact (a Singapore citizen, PR or company) applying on your behalf;
  • an ICA strategic partner or authorised visa agent;
  • a Singapore Overseas Mission.

Singapore visa photo FAQ

Use a recent passport-sized colour photo: 35 × 45 mm if printed, or 400 × 514 pixels for a digital upload, on a plain white background.

The old SAVE visa system asked for JPEG files under 60 KB. ICA's current photo guidelines allow files up to 8 MB in JPG, PNG or HEIC format. Follow the instructions of the agent or mission handling your application.

Only travellers of certain nationalities need a visa. Check ICA's visa requirements page for your passport before you apply.
