A Singapore driving licence photo is a coloured, passport-size photograph on a white background with a matte or semi-matte finish. When you need one depends on the service: converting a foreign licence, changing your licence particulars or renewing at 65 and above.

Converting a foreign driving licence
To convert a foreign licence, you complete an online pre-assessment and then book an appointment at Traffic Police Headquarters, 10 Ubi Avenue 3. New driving licence
If you enrolled as a learner from 1 October 2018, you do not need to supply a photo: the photo taken at your driving centre is printed on your licence. The fee is S$50 for Singapore citizens and PRs.
Replacing a lost or damaged licence
A replacement licence costs S$25 and reuses your previous photo, so no new photo is needed.
Changing your licence photo or particulars
To update your licence photo, book an appointment to change your driving licence particulars and bring one recent Singapore passport-size photo with a white background. The fee is S$25 and the new licence takes about 14 working days.
Renewing at 65 and above
Drivers aged 65 and above with Class 4, 4A or 5 licences need a matte, passport-sized colour photograph on a white background when renewing. Your eyes must look straight ahead, both ears and eyebrows must be visible, and tinted spectacles are not allowed.
